   Web Browsing

Spacebar - tap the spacebar to scroll down a web page in sections
Shift + spacebar - to move up a web page (same as page up key, works in IE only)
Alt + left arrow - returns you to the previously viewed page
Alt + right arrow - advance to formerly viewed page
Arrow keys (Up or Down) - scroll up & down through a web page with arrow
  keys
Backspace - returns you to the previously viewed page
End key - go to the bottom of the page
Home key - go to the top of the page
Tab key - move to next link, or hold and scroll thru links
Shift + tab - return to a previous link, button, or text box

Get the browser view right for you!
Are the letters in your browser too tiny or too large? Are you forced to
scroll to the RIGHT to read all the text? To adjust your screen layout:

Point to your browser's menu bar and click View, then Text Size and make
your choice. This works in both MS Internet Explorer and Netscape. (Note: In
old versions of MS Internet Explorer, go to View, then Fonts)

Have a mouse with a wheel? Here's an alternative to the above method.  Hold the
Ctrl key down, then roll the mouse wheel towards you to enlarge the font on your
web page. Move the wheel away to reduce font. This works on most Windows
         operating systems.

Another method can accomplish the same effect, but will alter the resolution not
only on your browser, but on every application on your PC. Right-click on your
desktop. On the resulting menu, select Properties, then the Settings tab. In the
'Screen Area' section, choose a larger or smaller setting. This is
counter-intuitive! For example, if your setting is 1024x768, changing it to
800x600 will enlarge fonts. You can return to the original settings anytime by
         going through this process again.

This web was built to look best with the common screen resolution of 800 x 600.

Screen glare? Low vision? You can change to a dark background on all web pages, but the setting will apply to all Windows applications. If you try this, you can easily undo the settings any time. (Directions for MS Internet Explorer only)
Step 1. Changing the Microsoft Windows display appearance: Right-click on your desktop, choose Properties. In Display Properties, choose the Appearance tab, then select the Scheme drop-down arrow and choose High Contrast Black. At the bottom, click OK.
Step 2. Changing your browser's settings: In your browser window, choose Tools menu, then Internet Options. At bottom right, click Accessibility. In Accessibility box, check the box "Ignore Colors Specified on Web Page," then click OK (Note: Internet Options is under View menu in old browsers)

All web pages will now have a black background!

REVERSING: If you no longer want the High Contrast, be sure to reverse the settings on both Display Properties and in the browser. The "Ignore Colors" setting in the browser's Accessibility box can effect your computer's desktop wallpaper if still checked!)
